Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking Children's Support Workers to help vulnerable children in local authority care. You will provide compassionate, trauma-informed care, build positive relationships, and support daily routines, education, and life skills.

The role involves advocacy, attendance at appointments, and optional transport duties using your own vehicle. A driver’s licence is required; DBS checks are part of safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience.
• Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins when required.
• NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.

Your Role
