Job summary

SWAAY Child And Adolescent Services Limited is hiring a Waking Night Worker for night shifts in Bracknell. You’ll help maintain a safe, nurturing home and monitor movements during the night, supporting traumatised young people to progress toward their goals.

Ideal candidates will be able to stay awake through night shifts, show compassion, resilience and reliability, and may pursue funded NVQ Level 3 training in Residential Childcare.

Qualifications

• Need to be able to remain awake and alert during night shifts.
• Commitment to safeguarding and caring for traumatised young people.
• Willingness to undertake funded training to achieve NVQ Level 3 or Level 4 Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing home environment.
• Supervise and record movements and activities during the night.
• Promote and safeguard the health and wellbeing of each child.
• Work in line with risk assessments.
• Recognise, respond to and record safeguarding concerns.
