Universal Care Services in Cromer is seeking a compassionate Waking Night Care Assistant to provide overnight home-based support, ensuring safety, comfort and respectful companionship during night hours.

You will receive training, flexible night shifts, DBS check, and opportunities for personal development including fully funded NVQ qualifications from day one. This role offers meaningful, community-focused care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support tenants in daily life, including meal support, hydration, medication prompts and household tasks.
• Assist tenants with personal care.
• Provide companionship, comfort and emotional reassurance.
• Encourage tenants to participate in care decisions and activities.
• Record and report care notes and observations accurately.
• Support mobility, rehabilitation and confidence-building activities where appropriate.
