Job summary

Mencap in Bangor, Northern Ireland, is seeking passionate Waken Night Support Workers to join our dedicated team. You will assist with daily activities, provide emotional support, and help individuals with learning disabilities lead safe, fulfilling lives.

We value compassion, strong communication, and flexibility to cover 36-hour shifts from 9.00pm to 9.00am, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI

Mencap is seeking passionate Waken Night Support Workers to join our incredible team in Bangor, Northern Ireland.

As a Waken Night Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.

From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you'll play a vital role in their life.

What we're looking for

• A genuine passion for supporting others.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
• Willingness to register with NISCC and undergo an enhanced Access NI check

Contract options

• 1 x 36 hour contracts.

9.00pm - 9.00am

All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!

Mencap holds a Home Office sponsorship licence; however, due to current restrictions on our allocation of Certificates of Sponsorship, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. Applicants must therefore have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
