Highwayman is seeking a friendly Soft Play Team Member to help maintain high standards for children, ensuring a happy and safe atmosphere. You will assist parents, manage the reception area, and contribute to birthday party activities with face painting and balloon modelling.

Job description

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of play for all children, while promoting a happy yet safe atmosphere, overseeing the soft play area and assisting parents with any needs. It goes without saying that you must love working with children, have a good sense of humour and be a responsible and organised person.

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as part of the recruitment process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE:

• Answering guest queries on products, prices & house facilities/activities
• Dealing with enquiries by telephone in a warm & friendly manner, endeavouring at all times to accommodate their requests
• Ensure a clean & tidy environment at all times & ensure that the reception area is tidy & ready for service at all times
• Help create a fun, exciting & safe environment so that every guest leaves wanting to return
• Help run children’s Birthday parties, taking control and interacting with the children
• Face painting & Balloon modelling
• Selling of various food and drink items to guests
