Job summary

Quod Restaurant & Bar in Oxford is seeking waiting staff to deliver memorable guest experiences across a busy city-centre venue. You will be part of a team that prides itself on service quality, atmosphere, and wine and cocktail knowledge.

The role offers a 35-hour week with a Monday-to-Sunday rota and a potential OTE of up to £18.40 per hour, including service charge. Part-time hours may be considered and numerous staff benefits apply.

Job description

Quod is an independent, bustling, city centre restaurant, bar & terrace with over 250 seats. Located on Oxford’s famous High Street, Quod is open all day, every day serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. The menu consists of European classics with an emphasis on British produce. The busy restaurant, with a high level of repeat business, is open every day of the year.

Quod is part of ‘The Oxford Collection’; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant & Bar, and Quod Restaurant & Bar. We have 80 bedrooms across three iconic properties in central Oxford, with unrivalled views across the city’s beautiful skyline.

We offer a sensible shift pattern, across a 35-hour working week (Monday to Sunday rota with two days off) with an OTE up to £18.40 per hour, including non-contractual tronc (service charge).

Part-time hours may also be considered.
