Job summary

NHS Lothian is recruiting a Waiting List Assistant based at St Johns Hospital, Livingston. You will provide effective and efficient administrative and clerical support in relation to Waiting List management and respond to routine requests for information.

To work in the United Kingdom there is a legal requirement to demonstrate permission to work. This post requires PVG Scheme membership/record and candidates may need to apply to Disclosure Scotland before starting in post.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient administrative and clerical support in relation to Waiting List management and respond to routine requests for information.
• Ensure the prompt and accurate input of patient details to appropriate waiting lists and assist booking appointments as directed by waiting list management team.
• Provide high-quality support by undertakings all administrative and clerical duties in the daily running of the department, as an individual and as a team member.
