Job summary

Searcys at the National Portrait Gallery Restaurant in London seeks an experienced Waiter/Waitress to join the team. You will help run sections, deliver all guest requirements, and provide seamless service with food and drink throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience as waiter/waitress is preferred.
• Strong focus on delivering excellent guest service.
• Good organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to guests in the National Portrait Gallery Restaurant.
• Participate in delivering all food and beverage services as part of the floor team.
• Assist with setup of restaurant and events to ensure smooth operations.
• Nurture and develop junior waiting staff and maintain standards.
• Adhere to company policies and training procedures.
• Liaise with managers to ensure consistency with menus and service levels.

Searcys are looking for a dynamic Waiter/waitress to join the team at the National Portrait Gallery Restaurant.

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Waiter / Waitress to assist the floor managers in the day to day running of the National Portrait Gallery Restaurant . As a Searcys waiter you will be required to run sections, understanding and delivering all guests requirements and offering seamless service, food and drink

Searcys were very fortunate to have opened the extraordinary Portrait Restaurant based in London's iconic National Portrait Gallery in collaboration with Michelin starred chef Richard Corrigan. Shortly after opening we have been recognised in the industry for delivering world class food and drink and are now one of the top restaurants to visit in London.

Job Type: Full Time

• Salary: £17.00 +per hour including Tronc
• Venue closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to our guests
• To successfully participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
• Take part in the setup of restaurant and events
• Nurture and develop new commis waiters
• Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
• Liaise with key people in all necessary areas of the business to ensure the provision of food and service is consistent and in line with menu/standards set by the managers
• Deal effectively and courteously with guestrequests, and to refer them to the line manager, if necessary
• Hands on and proactive approach
• Able to work autonomously and as part of ateam
• Passion for food and beverage
• Strong organisational skills
