The Ned is hiring waiters to be the friendly faces across its 10 restaurants. You’ll tailor service to provide exceptional experiences, answer questions with menu expertise, and maintain a visible, polished presence to support a smooth, high-standards operation.

Responsibilities

• Be the main contact for guests throughout their visit and tailor service to deliver exceptional experiences.
• Use menu knowledge to answer guests’ queries and provide recommendations.
• Remain visible and impeccably presented to deliver a slick operation with a friendly energy.
• Guard food and drink quality and presentation to maintain Ned standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean restaurant environment for guests and teammates.
• Shifts vary between early starts and late finishes across restaurants.

The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting into the restaurant management team and as the friendly face of the guest experience you will:

• Be the main point of contact for your guests’ entire visit, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that The Ned is known for
• Using your unrivalled knowledge of our menus, you’ll answer all guests queries and provide recommendations to make sure every guest receives the perfect meal
• Even when not directly interacting with our guests you will be in full view so you will always be impeccably presented, delivering a slick operation, all with a friendly and open energy
• Be the last guardian of food and drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guests
• Maintain a safe and clean restaurant environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm
• Shifts vary between an 0700 start and a late finish, depending on the restaurant
