Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Placement Leader to own and drive all W&I and transactional risk placement across the deal flow.

You will shape market approach, negotiate terms with underwriters, and manage relationships with insurers and MGAs across London, Europe and beyond. You will lead a team responsible for placement standards, wording quality, and collaboration with origination and claims to ensure client outcomes drive the process.

Qualifications

Experience leading W&I and transactional risk placement, with a track record of negotiating terms on complex multi-jurisdictional deals.
Deep network across the transactional risk insurer market and a strong bar with underwriters and MGAs.

Responsibilities

Lead and own all placement activity across the team.
Origination brings deals in; decide how they go to market, with whom and on what terms.
Shape insurer relationships and placement strategy across every transaction.
Own the firm's relationships with insurers and MGAs across London, Europe and beyond.
Set placement standards and process; oversee wording negotiation quality and consistency.
Coach brokers on market approach and work with origination and claims to align with client outcomes.
Represent the practice in the market and act as the senior internal authority on coverage, exclusions and underwriter appetite.
