Job summary

The AA, in partnership with Volkswagen, seeks a dedicated Volkswagen Dedicated Technician to deliver prestige roadside support and a high‑calibre customer experience. Representing two iconic brands, you will diagnose with VW-specific tools and own the customer journey from arrival to repair completion.

Your role blends technical skill and effective communication to ensure satisfaction, while handling warranty work and advanced diagnostics in a 40‑hour week with flexible standby hours.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points)
• Customer-focused and independent

• Deliver prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles using manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostics
• Take complete ownership of the customer experience from arrival to repair completion
• Combine technical skill with excellent communication to ensure customer satisfaction
• Handle a mix of warranty work, roadside diagnostics, and advanced repairs
• Start and end your day at home with a VWG van, tools, and uniform
• Work 40 hours/week with a 7am–8pm shift range and flexible standby hours

• Work 40 hours/week – currently with a 7am–8pm shift range, with flexible standby hours to suit your life

Who You Are

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Confident, independent, and customer focused
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points)
