Job summary

The AA is recruiting a Volkswagen Dedicated Technician to deliver prestige roadside support for VW vehicles, operating within two iconic brands to ensure a high‑calibre customer experience. You will use manufacturer‑specific tools and diagnostics, taking ownership from arrival to completion while providing clear communication to customers.

The role includes warranty work, diagnostics, and advanced repairs, with day-to-day duties supported by a VWG van and uniform.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Confident, independent, and customer focused.
• Full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Deliver prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles using manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostics.
• Take complete ownership of the customer experience from arrival to repair completion.
• Combine technical skill with excellent communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle warranty work, roadside diagnostics, and advanced repairs.
• Start and end your day with a VWG van, tools, and uniform.
• Work 40 hours/week with a 7am–8pm shift range and flexible standby hours.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles, using manufacturer‑specific tools and diagnostics
• Take complete ownership of the customer experience, from arrival to completion of the repair

• Handle a mix of warranty work, roadside diagnostics, and advanced repairs
• Start and end your day at home with a fully equipped VWG van, tools, and uniform
• Work 40 hours/week – currently with a 7am–8pm shift range, with flexible standby hours to suit your life

Who You Are

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Confident, independent, and customer focused
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points)
