Job summary
Awerian is a defence-focused R&D consultancy; join our team to assess critical systems for vulnerabilities and to develop novel cyber defence techniques using a physics-first approach. As a Hardware Security Engineer Consultant, you will build PoC demonstrators, integrate third-party components, and design end-to-end solutions across software and hardware, working on-site at our Melbourn lab.
You will collaborate with experts on cutting-edge projects supporting UK defence and homeland security
Qualifications
- Strong undergraduate degree in a relevant subject such as Maths, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science.
- Experience in vulnerability research and PoC development is preferred.
- Fluent programming in C, C++ or Python and low-level system knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability research and develop PoC demonstrators in novel settings.
- Integrate third-party components and build elements to create robust solutions.
- Analyze software, hardware, and infrastructure interactions to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement end-to-end defensive solutions with rapid delivery.
- Collaborate with experts and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
