Awerian Ltd is seeking a Hardware Security Engineer Consultant to tackle diverse challenges at the forefront of cyber defence. You will develop proof‑of‑concept demonstrators and explore vulnerabilities across software and hardware in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes curiosity, creativity, and practical implementation, with autonomous yet collaborative work in a fast‑paced environment at our Cambridge site.

Qualifications

• Strong undergraduate degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or CS.
• Applied vulnerability research experience.
• Fluent programming in C, C++ or Python.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability research and develop proof‑of‑concept demonstrators.
• Analyse software/hardware interactions and identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Prototype and troubleshoot novel cyber defence techniques.
• Integrate third‑party components with bespoke solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
