An award-winning MSP in the UK is seeking a Vulnerability Engineer / Manager to lead the vulnerability management process. You'll manage tools like Tenable and Nessus while ensuring security across systems and applications. Ideal candidates will have extensive cyber security experience and strong knowledge of threat standards. The role is office-based and may require security clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cyber security experience with at least 2 years focusing on vulnerability management.
• Familiar with threat frameworks and standards.

Overview

Vulnerability Engineer / Manager to join a highly professional established security ops SOC team. You will lead vulnerability management ensuring identification, assessment and remediation of security vulnerabilities across infrastructure, applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle with SOC analysts.
• Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable and Nessus.
• Regularly scan networks, systems and applications for security vulnerabilities.
• Classify and prioritise vulnerabilities by severity, business impact and threat intelligence.
• Contribute towards security architecture reviews and hardening.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cyber security experience with at least 2 years focusing on vulnerability management.
• Familiar with threat and standards such as CVSS, NIST, MITRE ATT&CK.
