Job summary

Talentedge seeks a Vice President – Development to lead the UK Solutions Development function, owning the technology stack, platform operations and product engineering delivery for scalable media solutions.

You will translate business priorities into clear plans, establish agile practices, govern SDLC, and guide architecture decisions in a global, matrixed environment. A strategic, results-driven leader will drive innovation and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within media technology, MarTech, AdTech or related data-heavy tech.
• Proven track record delivering or leading development of media products or platforms.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary product/engineering teams.
• Strong experience implementing JIRA, Confluence, testing frameworks and SDLC practices.
• Experience evolving agile delivery models (Kanban/Scrum).
• Demonstrated accountability for delivery, quality, standards and outcomes.
• Strong Python, R and SQL skills in data-heavy environments.
• Experience with AI engineering in products/solutions.
• Ability to influence system architecture and platform decisions.
• Experience operating in complex, matrixed organisations with global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the UK Solutions Development strategy, technology stack and delivery roadmap with senior stakeholders.
• Translate business priorities into actionable plans, milestones and measurable outcomes.
• Lead product engineering, platform operations, QA, release management and delivery standards.
• Own system architecture and scalability decisions for speed and sustainability.
• Embed agile frameworks and evolve Kanban toward a strategic, scalable model.
• Guard delivery quality and ensure teams meet commitments and outcomes.
• Introduce lifecycle practices including JIRA, Confluence, testing and SDLC governance.
• Foster rapid experimentation with control and governance.
