Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Threat Hunt Cyber Detection Platform. You will provide operational support, maintain platform systems, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in platform/DevOps/security roles, strong Linux knowledge, Python scripting, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes. On-site in Glasgow with flexible working options and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform/DevOps/Security roles.
• Bachelor's degree or 9+ years relevant experience.
• Python scripting to automate repetitive tasks.
• Strong Linux admin and enterprise networking, incl. firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Provide and enrich operational support; respond to alerts on critical services.
• Maintain and support Platform Systems, advising and implementing strategic solutions.
• Troubleshoot and remediate infrastructure issues at hardware/software levels.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients; onboard users and manage services.
• Collaborate with internal teams on hardware maintenance and remote remediation.
• Provide on-call support for follow-the-sun model.
