Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s Cybersecurity Department is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our Product team supporting Cloud & Platform Security.

You will lead discovery, shape the product roadmap, and enable engineering in an agile environment while collaborating across technical staff, risk professionals and senior leaders. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management.
• Technical background enabling probing conversations with customers and discussion with the product engineering team.
• Ability to measure and report on product performance, using data to inform future product decisions and improvements.
• Experience working within a modern software engineering environment and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in building and managing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
• Experience in delivering outcomes in matrix organizations, influencing partners and stakeholders.
• Ability to facilitate collaboration across technical and non-technical teams and roles.
• Strong attention to detail and quality, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in delivering within an agile development environment.
• Experienced in delivering products/solutions/services in Public / Private Cloud environments.
• Experience turning a vision into clear, tangible building blocks of a roadmap and have a clear definition of done.
• You are self-driven, you deal well with ambiguity, and you can pave the way for things that have never been done before.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer and stakeholder discovery, and partnership.
• Drive the management, socialization, and evolution of the product roadmap.
• Enable the engineering team to work in an agile manner, with clear direction and feedback on priorities and deliverables.
• Ensure the end-to-end delivery of the product roadmap with collaboration across teams, including the identification and communication of dependencies and risks.
• Ensure the individual product strategy is aligned and integrated within our wider organization strategy.
• Understand the industry and market your product is in and apply that knowledge to customer interactions and the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain customer community and engagement for the product.
• Champion the team’s customer successes.
