Job summary

Magnit Global in London seeks an experienced People Risk & Controls Manager (VP level) to strengthen and embed the Operational Risk & Control Framework across the HR function in EMEA. The role partners with senior HR leadership, Operational Risk, Internal Audit and the wider business to enhance governance and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on risk identification, assessment, monitoring, remediation and reporting, with oversight of RCSA, control testing and issue closure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Operational Risk, Risk & Controls or Non-Financial Risk within a large financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) across the EMEA HR function.
• Develop, embed and test risk and control frameworks; oversee control design, testing, assurance and issue closure validation.
• Manage internal and external audit findings and remediation plans, ensuring timely delivery.
• Prepare senior management reporting, KPIs/KRIs and risk committee materials.
• Engage with HR, Operational Risk, Compliance and Internal Audit to strengthen risk practices and challenge management.
• Drive continuous improvement of HR risk controls across EMEA jurisdictions.
