Job summary

Proton.ai is seeking a VP of Marketing to sharpen our storytelling and expand a multi-product platform for distributors. You’ll lead brand, demand, content, field marketing, and ops while reporting to the CEO and guiding a growing team across four direct reports and additional contractors.

You’ll own the go-to-market strategy, set targets, and ensure alignment with revenue goals. The role demands strategic vision, hands-on leadership, and experience scaling marketing in high-growth SaaS.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in B2B marketing leadership.
• Led a BDR/SDR team or partnered closely with one; expertise in targeting, messaging, qualification, and Sales handoff.
• Experience scaling a lean marketing function, ideally at Series A or B startup.
• Product marketing range: sharpen positioning, messaging, and launches.
• AI work; familiarity with Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Own brand, positioning, messaging, launches, and go-to-market for Proton’s platform.
• Lead demand generation, content, field marketing, customer marketing, and marketing operations.
• Set targets and qualification standards with Sales; own BDR performance.
• Build campaigns across ABM, paid, content, and events to grow pipeline.
