The Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on, no-fluff VP of Engineering with startup scaling experience (Seed to Series A+). This role requires initial coding, but is primarily focused on setting technical vision, driving architecture, and leading by example—contributing directly in Golang and Python when needed while managing a team of 30 engineers and shaping a high-performing team that builds robust, real-time AI systems.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Strategy & Execution:
   ○ Define and execute the technical roadmap and architecture for scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
   ○ Ensure best practices in CI/CD, TDD, code reviews, and overall software quality.
2. Team Leadership & Mentorship:
   ○ Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team.
   ○ Foster a culture of action, accountability, and continuous improvement.
3. Hands-On Development:
   ○ Code in Golang and Python as needed to contribute to critical projects.
   ○ Oversee development of real-time streaming and AI-powered systems.
