Job summary

BNY, a leading global financial services firm, seeks a Vice President to define and deliver its sustainability regulatory agenda across EMEA and globally. You will work with senior leaders to shape regulatory strategy, ensure readiness, and translate evolving requirements into practical solutions.

In this role you will drive disclosures and reporting aligned with IFRS S1/S2 and TCFD, partner across functions, improve data integrity, and explore automation and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance

Qualifications

• Experience leading sustainability, regulatory, prudential, risk or disclosure-related initiatives within financial services or similarly regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of evolving sustainability and climate regulatory landscape and disclosure frameworks.
• Ability to translate regulatory change into clear business priorities, implementation plans and practical solutions.
• Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with understanding of how developments influence business strategy and governance.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of sustainability regulatory strategy across EMEA and globally.
• Provide regulatory insights on CSRD, EU Taxonomy, UK Sustainability Reporting Standards, prudential climate requirements and related developments.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to assess impacts, set priorities and coordinate implementation.
• Shape high-quality sustainability disclosures and reporting aligned with IFRS S1/S2 and TCFD.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting quality, data integrity, and automation including AI-enabled solutions.
