Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Vice President to join the EMEA Commercial & Investment Bank Markets ORM team, ensuring the firm’s Operational Risk Management Framework is implemented and functioning effectively within CIB Markets.

You will oversee risk across Markets, collaborate with Compliance, Audit and Markets Control Functions, and drive improvements to risk processes while staying current with regulatory developments. This is a senior, highly visible role based in London.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experience in Markets, Operations, Risk or Compliance.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills with successful track record of completion.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and communicate clearly and concisely in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Firmwide CCOR Management Framework to oversee CIB Markets with Compliance, Audit and Markets Control.
• Understand and assess Key and Emerging Risks for Global Markets businesses.
• Assess operational risks and control environments and remediate deficiencies with first line of defense.
• Collaborate with Testing Centre of Excellence to test controls’ effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements to risk processes and internal workflows.
• Stay abreast of industry news and regulatory developments to enable proactive risk identification.
