Job summary

BNY is hiring a Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to lead Manchester-based software engineering efforts in a fast-paced, financial services context. You will drive end-to-end delivery of distributed systems, modern APIs, and secure-by-design architectures while guiding teams across full-stack scopes including Groovy, Java, and Angular.

You will mentor engineers, champion CI/CD, telemetry, and cloud adoption, and influence product strategy with strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of software engineering teams delivering distributed systems.
• Deep Java experience with Spring and scalable API design.
• Strong DevOps: CI/CD, automated testing, telemetry, and cloud.
• Hands-on AI development and integration into product workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence, with data-driven decisions.
