Archer, in collaboration with BNY, is seeking a Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join the FX Execution Services team in Manchester. You will design, build, and deploy AI-first production systems, ensuring secure, observable, and scalable delivery while guiding junior engineers.

Lead cross-functional delivery across architecture, data, and platforms, drive reusable patterns, and mentor teams to deliver production-ready solutions in regulated financial services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS/engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on software development experience with production systems.
• Strong understanding of AI patterns including RAG and semantic search.
• Experience building backend services, APIs, and production systems.
• Experience working across architecture, data, and platform concerns.
• Experience delivering AI/data/workflow-heavy solutions in regulated environments.
• Strong systems-thinking and architecture judgment across services, data, and infrastructure.
• Ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and drive discovery.
• Bias toward action with disciplined follow-through.

Responsabilités

• Embed stakeholders to scope and delivery time-boxed engagements.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-first production solutions; move prototypes to production.
• Reuse existing platforms and contribute reusable patterns.
• Conduct discovery with operating teams to validate feasibility and rapid prototyping.
• Standardize patterns and promote platform capabilities.
• Apply secure-by-default practices with observability and readiness.
• Prepare handoff packages for sustainment after deployment.
• Coordinate with security, control, and compliance teams.
