Job summary

Morgan Stanley in London is seeking a Vice President in the Algo Exchange Connectivity team to develop and maintain order routers and related systems providing access to exchanges, brokers, and liquidity sources for securitized instruments.

You will contribute to modernization efforts, collaborate with product leads, and be involved across the full project lifecycle from requirements to deployment, with occasional weekend work and L3 support responsibilities.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
• A good understanding of C++ combined with AI/Machine learning applications.
• Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Have worked on distributed applications, in a service based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop order routers as part of a global development team.
• Support existing production infrastructure and modernize the Exchange Connectivity platform.
• Communicate with product leads across technology to discuss improvements.
• Involve in all lifecycle stages from requirements to deployment and support.
• Design/develop products to add value to provided services.
• Perform exchange certification, regression testing, and deployment (occasional weekend work).
• Provide L3 support when required.
