Job summary

Morgan Stanley in London seeks an experienced electronic trading tech lead to advance its delta1 algo trading systems. You will build, deploy and support trading strategies, analytical tools and scalable engine infrastructure within a fast-moving IT/quant/trading team.

The role is front-office, requiring strong communication and teamwork as you collaborate with global trading, quant and IT teams to push platform capabilities and execution performance in a high-volume, low-latency environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level Java in UNIX/Linux, front-office trading context, strong communication.
• Experience with automated market making or algo trading in liquid markets.
• Knowledge of low-latency messaging pub/sub tech and trading signals.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance trading strategies and engines, delta1 space, in Java.
• Collaborate with global trading, quant and IT teams to advance platform.
• Work across new and existing algos, improve performance and analysis of data.
• Participate in full SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Work on high-volume, low-latency, resilient, message-driven systems.
