Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vice President for the Diversified Industries Corporates Team. The role covers leveraging and investment grade clients across sectors, balancing commercial outcomes with rigorous risk management.

You will lead credit analysis, structuring, and documentation negotiations while coaching junior staff and maintaining senior-level relationships across the CIB and risk functions.

Qualifications

• Sound credit skills and judgment; proactive and flexible in coordinating and leading credit processes.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to build credibility with risk and business stakeholders.
• Understand transaction structures, documentation and banking products to lead deal execution.
• Self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment.
• Significant experience in a comparable banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and develop recommendations for new transaction approvals across loans, derivatives, trade and treasury products
• Lead due diligence and credit analysis to assess counterparty creditworthiness and determine structure, risk appetite and grading
• Lead structuring and documentation negotiations for Investment Grade and Leveraged facilities, derivatives, and other products
• Coach and train Analysts and Associates on technical and professional skills
• Manage ongoing credit risk portfolio; monitor ratings, sector trends and client performance
• Balance commercial mindset with a strong risk controls approach to the Firm’s balance sheet
• Develop and maintain relationships at senior levels with stakeholders across CIB, product specialists, Markets, and M&A
• Understand and apply Firm’s risk management policies and interact with Regulators and Auditors
