Job summary

SMBC Group in London is seeking a Vice President to lead the Data, Analytics & Transformation team within EMEA CIB & SFS Business Management. You will spearhead data, analytics and transformation initiatives across Front Office, combining analysis, process improvement and stakeholder engagement.

The role offers exposure to Corporate & Investment Banking and Structured Finance Solutions, with a salary range of £88,000–£134,000 plus a discretionary incentive and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
• Strong data analysis skills across large datasets.
• Clear written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading projects or workstreams involving multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of management information, dashboards and analytical solutions for Front Office and Business Management stakeholders.
• Conduct complex analytical investigations to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Translate strategic business challenges into data-driven recommendations and practical solutions.
• Define and develop reporting frameworks using Excel, Power BI, Tableau or similar tools.
• Manage delivery across Technology, Data, Change and Front Office teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
• Lead engagement with stakeholders to define requirements forDealCloud and other Front Office enhancements.
• Drive AI adoption through proof-of-concepts and business cases.
