Job summary

SMBC Group in London is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join the Credit Planning & Portfolio Intelligence team. You will act as a subject matter expert, leading delivery on data, reporting transformation and risk intelligence for portfolio analytics.

The role covers risk monitoring, reporting, data governance and transformation initiatives, with opportunities to influence credit strategy and forecasting across the EMEA region.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in Risk Management, Credit Risk or Portfolio Analytics.
• Experience producing management information and analytical reporting.
• Familiarity with data governance and reporting controls.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Risk Intelligence Analysis, Early Warning Analytics and Portfolio Analytics.
• Develop and enhance early warning indicators and quantitative risk signals.
• Build forward-looking financial projection and deterioration analysis.
• Support stress testing methodology, scenario analysis and production.
• Support credit cost forecasting and portfolio risk quantification.
• Translate financial analysis into portfolio intelligence.
