Job summary

SMBC Group is building a data hub and a global data platform across EMEA. We seek a Vice President Data Modeller who will lead enterprise data modelling, collaborate with front office and operations, and drive governance, data quality and analytics alignment.

You will work with IT, Data Office, and regional teams to implement conceptually strong data models that support strategic programs and ECB/BCBS234 compliance.

Qualifications

Experience building enterprise data modelling functions across banks or financial institutions.
Ability to conceptualise and develop enterprise data models.
Experience using modelling tools such as Erwin, ER Studio, or IDA.
Ability to map data models to business information models and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Mobilise and roll out the Data Modelling Function for EMEA.
Drive adoption of enterprise data models regionally and globally.
Develop data distribution patterns for data platform layers.
Engage with Data Office and Business stakeholders to assess processes and data concepts.
Represent data models to support data governance, quality, analytics, and IT delivery.
