Job summary

CLS Group is seeking a Security Data Analytics & Metrics Engineer to architect and run a federated analytics platform on AWS, delivering executive-level metrics and regulatory reporting. You will design scalable data pipelines, a Security Data Lake, and enterprise dashboards, while integrating SIEM, CSPM, and exposure management tools.

The role blends data engineering, cloud architecture, and security expertise to provide trusted security performance data for leadership, regulators and the Board.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data/analytics engineering and cloud platform work.
• Experience designing AWS-based data platforms.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Experience with security data and risk management datasets.
• Familiarity with Power BI dashboards.
• Understanding of security operations and IAM in cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a cloud-based security analytics platform on AWS.
• Build data pipelines ingesting telemetry from security and cloud platforms.
• Develop Security Data Lake using AWS services.
• Create enterprise dashboards and executive scorecards.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform.
• Monitor platform health, cost, and reliability.
• Define KPIs/KRIs and regulatory reporting capabilities.
