Job summary

CLS Group is seeking a Cyber & Network Security Engineer to join our CISO team. You will assist in deploying and operating enterprise security platforms, with exposure to AWS security tooling and automation via Python.

You will work under guidance from senior engineers to build secure AWS environments, develop IaC, and contribute to threat detection and data protection initiatives across our security stack.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security Engineering, or Infrastructure Security.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AWS environments.
• Experience automating security operations with Python.

Responsibilities

• Assist with configuring and maintaining enterprise security platforms and services.
• Learn and support products like Splunk, Forcepoint, and Zscaler under senior guidance.
• Build and manage AWS environments for proof-of-concepts, testing, and production deployments.
• Develop IaC capabilities for rapid deployment of security tooling.
• Design security monitoring use cases and develop Splunk dashboards and reports.
• Onboard log sources and improve threat detection with telemetry integration.
