BNY Mellon seeks a Vice President, Compliance Officer to join the Pershing and Markets Compliance team in Manchester, UK. This role focuses on regulatory change oversight, governance, and cross-border compliance initiatives across EMEA.

The successful candidate will lead regulatory analysis, maintain publications logs, and provide advisory support to stakeholders including governance committees.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services with FCA requirements (COBS, SYSC, CASS, MAR, SMCR, MiFID).
• Strong understanding of regulatory change management and impact of UK/European regulation.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and provide practical compliance guidance to governance committees.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies, including AI, in compliance contexts.

Responsabilités

• Lead regulatory change oversight for Pershing Securities Ltd and the Markets business across UK/EU jurisdictions.
• Maintain regulatory publications log, coordinate impact assessments and ensure accessible documentation.
• Partner with Regulatory Change, Legal, Compliance and business stakeholders to implement regulatory developments.
• Manage horizon scanning and governance frameworks, including control documentation and SOPs.
• Prepare compliance risk information for senior management and regulatory forums.
• Provide compliance advisory support across EMEA on cross-border regulatory matters.
