Job summary

Barclays UK is seeking a Compliance Assurance Review Lead (Vice President) to lead assurance reviews assessing Compliance Risk management across Barclays UK. You will manage reviews from planning to reporting, providing objective challenge and delivering high-quality insights that influence customer and regulatory outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Compliance Assurance, Internal Audit and/or External Audit reviews.
• Strong technical assurance skills including risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Excellent communication skills to produce clear, concise reports for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refresh the Compliance Assurance Annual Plan focusing on high-risk areas.
• Deliver risk-based assurance activities to validate control effectiveness.
• Identify potential non-compliance risks and control weaknesses.
• Articulate findings in verbal and written reports to strengthen risk oversight.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across three lines of defence.
• Adopt data analytics to improve efficiency and coverage of assurance work.
• Demonstrate Barclays Values and Mindset in daily delivery.
