Job summary

Colchester City Council is seeking a Volunteer and Training Coordinator to support Ipswich Museum's redevelopment by growing and managing volunteering, work placements, interns and related training opportunities.

You will organise current volunteers, develop new roles such as Family volunteering and Young Explainers, and design and deliver inductions and ongoing guidance for volunteers and staff trainers in line with best practice.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering volunteering and training programmes.
• Ability to develop and manage volunteer programmes and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Promote, develop and manage volunteering, work placements, interns and training opportunities at Ipswich Museums.
• Organise current volunteers and develop new roles such as Family Volunteering and Young Explainers.
