The role blends customer service, recruitment, marketing and community engagement, with travel to local groups as needed.

You will be a proactive communicator who enjoys building relationships, understands needs, and can manage records using digital systems.

• Organised, proactive, and able to manage workload with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Respond to enquiries from people interested in volunteering and match their interests.
• Promote volunteering opportunities through websites, events and local channels.
• Speak with organisations to understand requirements and assist recruitment.
• Interview prospective volunteers and match to opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers, groups and partners.
• Keep records and databases up to date, monitor outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve the service and engagement.
