Job summary

Pinkston Watersports seeks a proactive Volunteer Coordinator to lead recruitment, development and support for volunteers across a busy community sports hub in Glasgow. You will work closely with staff and partners to create meaningful volunteering pathways and ensure strong programmes.

In this hands-on role, you will strengthen volunteer policies, collect impact data, and report outcomes while delivering an inclusive, engaging volunteering experience within a small team at Pinkston Watersports.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to lead in one or more activities: Kayaking, Canoeing or Stand-Up Paddleboarding.
  • Paddleboarding
  • Commitment to achieving activity qualifications
  • 16-hour Outdoor First Aid training
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience coordinating or managing volunteers, participants or community groups
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience maintaining records, schedules and reporting systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to motivate and support diverse volunteers
  • Experience collecting and reporting impact data; ability to work independently and use initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality delivery
  • Flexible, positive attitude in a small team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
