Job summary

Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is seeking a Volunteer Programme Manager to lead the organisation’s volunteer strategy on a part-time basis (3 days per week) in Leatherhead, Surrey. You will oversee engagement activities, budget, and policies, while collaborating with internal teams and external networks.

The role reports to the Director of HR & Volunteering and includes line management of the Volunteer Coordinator, with a focus on recruitment, training and retention across services.

Qualifications

• Experience in volunteer management capacity.
• Experience developing policy and implementing strategic projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Rainbow Trust’s Volunteer Programme and develop the volunteering strategy.
• Deliver strategic volunteer projects and embed volunteering across services.
• Lead volunteer engagement, manage the volunteering budget and policy, and support recruitment and training.
