Brainkind has a network of services across the UK that support people with acquired brain injury and other neurological conditions. Our neurological centres, residential homes, hospitals, and supported living services across the UK are there to help people wherever they are in their journey.

About the role:

If you love gardens, you will know they need a lot of care and attention. In this role, you will be helping with everyday practical tasks to keep centre gardens looking their best.

Activities may include:

  1. Clearing overgrown areas or developing sensory sections in the garden
  2. Engaging in general garden maintenance tasks such as weeding, hedge cutting, raking, and deadheading
  3. Sweeping paths and removing leaves to maintain a clean and tidy garden environment
  4. Help with planning and development of our outdoor spaces

How often we would like your support:

Ideally, we hope you would volunteer every week or fortnight; however, all our roles are flexible, and times should be agreed with your local centre.

  5. All volunteers are expected to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information, including following data protection regulations, to protect those that we support
