Job description

Landscape Gardener / Grave Digger needed in Preston, £13.47ph PAYE – Reference: OR6982

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Carry out a range of landscape gardening duties, including repairs and installation of park infrastructure such as benches, bins, drains, and bollards.
2. Assist with the delivery of horticultural maintenance services within the Cemetery.
3. Provide excellent customer care and public relations, considering the sensitive nature of cemetery duties.
4. Maintain cemetery facilities, including emptying bins and litter picking.
5. Perform grave digging duties, including using mechanical diggers safely.
6. Carry out gardening duties, including operating horticultural machinery.
7. Assist with the repair, removal, and installation of playground equipment.
8. Ensure all duties comply with health and safety procedures.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
