Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a part-time Volunteer Experience Co-ordinator to lead volunteering across the North & West Lake District Landscapes Portfolio, with a base in Keswick. You’ll develop inclusive, engaging experiences and work with teams to diversify involvement, ensuring volunteers feel valued and connected to our cause.

The role will oversee recruitment, induction, recognition and exit, and use data to improve processes while supporting volunteers across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting volunteering in a way that is safe, inclusive and enjoyable.
• Ability to coach and support colleagues who work with volunteers.
• Experience of coaching and developing leadership with team volunteer managers.
• Experience supporting individuals through challenging conversations and conflict resolution process.

Responsibilities

• Support teams to deliver the full volunteer journey - from recruitment and induction to recognition and exit.
• Embed inclusive practices, remove barriers, and ensure volunteers have a voice in shaping their experience.
• Use data and feedback to improve systems and processes, and help colleagues build confidence in working alongside volunteers.
