Background
The Ayrshire Hospice provides excellence in palliative and end of life care for patients and their families.
We support people who are aged 16 years and over, with diagnoses that are life-limiting, including respiratory and heart diseases, neurological conditions, cancers, and other illnesses. Our Family Care Team also supports children, young people, and their families with counselling and bereavement services.
We facilitate a seamless transition from young adult hospice services to our care. Our care aims to improve quality of life through symptom control, emotional and spiritual support, social care, and personal care at the end of life.

Additional services include pharmacy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, complementary therapy, Respite, and Response services. Care is provided in NHS Ayrshire and Arran hospitals, care homes, patients’ homes, our In-Patient Unit, and Living Well Hubs, anywhere a person considers their home, regardless of complexities. Family members, friends, and carers are also supported during illness and bereavement.

The Role
Are you an ecommerce enthusiast eager to showcase your online selling and marketing skills? You can use your knowledge and enthusiasm to support our social media presence and online eBay platform!
As an E-Commerce Volunteer, you'll work behind the scenes in our shops, learning about selling donated gems through the Ayrshire Hospice Online Shop and other platforms.
Your involvement may include researching, describing, photographing, and posting items.
Most importantly, you'll be helping support patients and families across Ayrshire.

What you will gain
