The Children's Society is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator for the Emotional Wellbeing Service in Gateshead. This is a permanent role funded until 31 March 2027, working 14 hours per week with some travel to support volunteers.
The ideal candidate will recruit, train and supervise volunteers, maintain policies, and provide ongoing support across Gateshead and surrounding areas. Flexible shift pattern and safeguarding awareness are valued.

To support the Service in the recruitment, training and support of Volunteers through the coordination of consistent and effective policies and procedures.
There will be some requirements to have a flexible shift pattern to ensure that you can provide support to all volunteers. You will also have the opportunity work alongside the other volunteer’s coordinators to provide joint training and support
