Job summary

StepChange is seeking an experienced Volume Recruiter for a two-month fixed-term contract in West Yorkshire. You will screen applications and conduct initial telephone screenings to quickly identify suitable candidates for busy contact centre campaigns.

You’ll support more structured interviews and assessment-centre activities as campaigns progress, balancing speed with a positive candidate experience within a hybrid home/office model.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, in-house or agency.
• Able to screen a large number of applications efficiently.
• Comfortable speaking with candidates by phone and coordinating interviews.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen applications against role requirements and criteria.
• Identify and progress suitable candidates through the recruitment process.
• Manage candidate pipelines and accurately record activity in the ATS.
• Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the process.
• Support structured telephone interviews when required.
• Assist with interviews and assessment centres during peak periods.
• Collaborate with Recruitment and operations teams to keep campaigns moving.
