Qualifications

• CPR certificate is required
• Pupil-activity (coaching) permit from Ohio Department of Education required
• Previous coaching experience is highly preferred
• Knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport/activity and willingness to adopt new techniques

Responsibilities

• Attend CMSD Pre-season meetings
• Follow CMSD guidelines and rules
• Attend and arrive promptly to practices and games
• Track and communicate student eligibility status
• Submit roster, schedule, and transportation paperwork to athletic department and principal
• Distribute and care for uniforms and equipment
• Participate in professional development by Athletics Department
• Upload scores and statistics to CMSD reporting site
• Help implement the program vision with the principal
• Supervise students before and after practice and competitions
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators
