Job summary

We’re seeking a Volkswagen Master Technician at Bruntingthorpe who thrives on solving complex faults, using the latest vehicle tech and leading from the front in the workshop.

You’ll handle advanced diagnostics, electrical systems, and EV high-voltage repairs, including battery work. Exceptional VW training and a strong diagnostic mindset are essential for this role within Cox Automotive’s Manheim Vehicle Solutions network.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ Volkswagen trained experience.
• Master / highest level Volkswagen training & qualifications (essential).
• EV & High Voltage certification (including battery removal and repair).
• Strong diagnostic capability across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience following manufacturer warranty processes.
• The ability to write clear job reports.
• Team mindset with the confidence to support others technically.
• Full UK driving licence (held 12+ months).

Responsibilities

• Complex mechanical & electrical diagnostics.
• EV and high-voltage system repairs.
• Removal and repair of high-voltage batteries (including module/cell work).
• Warranty repairs following manufacturer processes.
• Fault analysis using diagnostic data and technical information.
• Managing your own workload to deliver quality work on time.
• Supporting and advising colleagues with technical challenges.
