Job summary

The Automobile Association in Milton Keynes is seeking a skilled roadside technician to deliver prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles. You will start and finish your day at home with a VWG van, tools, and uniform, and handle warranty work, diagnostics, and advanced repairs.

You will combine technical skill with strong communication to ensure customer satisfaction, take full ownership of the customer experience, and contribute to a high-performing team through VWG & AA training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required or equivalent.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work a 40-hour week with flexible standby hours.

• Deliver prestige roadside support for Volkswagen vehicles using manufacturer-specific tools and diagnostics.
• Take complete ownership of the customer experience from arrival to completion of the repair.

Education

• Work 40 hours/week - currently with a 7am-8pm shift range, with flexible standby hours to suit your life
  NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Confident, independent, and customer focused
• Holds a full UK Cat B licence (max 6 points)
  A competitive base salary of £41,976 with realistic OTE of £50,000+, designed to reward dedication and skill in a high-performing team
