Job summary

Niyaa People Ltd is seeking a Voids Supervisor in Hertfordshire to lead a repairs team and ensure void properties are turned around efficiently while meeting the Lettable Standard. You will oversee Voids/GRT operatives, manage contractors, and coordinate repairs with a strong focus on safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires experience in social housing voids/repairs, team leadership, and good communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in Voids/Repairs within social housing.
• Experience managing operatives, subcontractors, or external contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the voids team to deliver repairs to a high standard.
• Line manage GRT Operatives (Voids) and support delivery of works.
• Recruit, train and develop GRT operatives.
• Coordinate repair works to void properties for efficient turnaround.
• Ensure Lettable Standard is adhered to by internal/external contractors within budgets.
