Job summary

Niyaa People is recruiting a Voids Supervisor for a well-established housing provider in Hertfordshire. You will lead the delivery of responsive repairs and voids across social housing properties, ensuring lettable standards are met and turnaround times are achieved.

This role requires proven experience in social housing, managing repair teams and subcontractors, and a robust understanding of health and safety.

Qualifications

Essential experience within social housing, ideally overseeing responsive repairs and voids.
Experience managing operatives, subcontractors or external contractors.
Strong understanding of day-to-day repairs and maintenance in residential properties.
A full UK driving licence and ability to travel across Hertfordshire/Buckinghamshire.

Responsibilities

To manage and motivate the team to deliver excellent services.
Responsible for the line management of GRT Operatives (Voids), ensuring that the void team have support to deliver works without disruption.
Responsible for the recruitment, training, and development of GRT operatives.
To co-ordinate repair works to void properties ensuring the most effective and efficient turnaround times.
To ensure that the Lettable Standard is adhered to by internal and external contractors, within agreed budgets.
